In a stunning moment that amazed parents and medical experts alike, a Pennsylvania mother captured her newborn daughter performing feats of strength far beyond her age.
Samantha Mitchell, 34, filmed her three-day-old baby, Nyilah Daise Tzabari, lifting her head and crawling — milestones that typically appear months later. “I’ve spent over 20 years around children, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” Mitchell told Kennedy News.
Born three weeks past her due date on March 2, 2023, Nyilah weighed a healthy 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Mitchell said her own mother urged her to record the rare moment. “No one would have believed me if I didn’t capture it,” she said. “Even my fiancé, Ofer, needed proof.”
In the viral video, viewed millions of times on TikTok, Nyilah can be seen propping herself up and crawling forward — actions usually seen in babies around six to nine months old. “Her strength has been astonishing since day one,” Mitchell said.
By 18 days old, Nyilah was rolling from belly to back. At two months, she began rolling the other way, and by three months, she could already stand with support. “She refuses to sit,” Mitchell laughed. “She’s incredibly determined.”
Her development isn’t just physical. At six weeks, Nyilah began mimicking sounds and trying to repeat phrases like “I love you.” “She babbles back and even laughs when we laugh,” Mitchell said.
The video, posted to TikTok, gained over 6.6 million likes, with users joking, “She’ll be working by next week!” and “That baby’s been here before.”
Mitchell remains amazed by her daughter’s progress. “She’s such a joyful, smiley baby,” she said. “She surprises us every single day — and we can’t wait to see what she’ll do next.”
